One Monday out of the month, My Majic 102.3 will host a New Music Monday listening party that will feature an artist that has been featured online and has received the most votes.

This week’s featured artist is Frank Sirius.

Artist Bio: 

Frank Sirius is destine for greatness. An emerging talent with an iconic presence, Frank has sold out shows at Blues Alley, graced the stage of the with the like of Envouge and Dwele at Birchmere, performed live on Washington’s WTTG Fox 5 Morning Show, manage to touch the hearts and minds of more than 15,000 Facebook fans, and maintains a loyal following of women called Sirius Ladies. At 100 members and growing, Frank captivates the Sirius Ladies fan base with the crooning sounds of songs like the late Donnie Hathaway’s “Song for You” reminiscent of musical starwort’s past and present currently playing on Music Choice.

An independent phenomenon, Frank’s music is becoming synonymous with independent superstardom peaking at #2 on the Billboard R&B/Hiphop Single Sales Charts and with “How Could I Let You Get Away”, peaking at #7 with “Closer”, and rounding out the top 10 at #9 with “Go-Go is My Business”– causing the music industry to take note and remember his name.

Dubbed the “godson of Go-Go with roots firmly planted in the only musical genre indigenous to the District of Columbia, Franks career in go-go music began with the band Lissen. His tenure in the Go-Go community is celebrated with sold-out shows across the eastern seaboard. As a member of the go-go band familiar faces, Frank toggles as the frontman for the one of DC’s hottest and most celebrated go-go bands’. When Frank is not on stage with Familiar faces, he is gracing stages of the CIAA and Constitution Hall with the likes of Eric Roberson and Fantasia.
