As Chris Bosh played his third game in the NBA Finals against the Oklahoma City Thunder, his baby mama has applied for food stamps.
Bosh’s former live-in galpal Allison Mathis was laid off from her gig as a secretary in a construction company and is so down on her luck that she was forced to apply for federal food assistance. Mathis may also see her home go into foreclosure because the child support Bosh is paying doesn’t cover her mortgage!

These two have been battling it out in the courts for over two years and Bosh even banned Mathis from appearing on VH-1’s Basketball Wives, which could’ve helped her pay the bills!
How much does Bosh pay in child support? $2,600-a-month, but according to state guidelines, someone like Bosh whose yearly salary is in the $18 million-range should be paying about $30,000-a-month. So Carey asked a judge to adjust the child support.
But payback is a b***h, Bosh’s request to take their three-year-old daughter to London this summer to watch him play in the Olympics has been denied by an Orlando judge.
Mathis lawyer said:
“He wants to take his daughter across the world for a photo op,” said Orlando family law attorney Jane E. Carey. “It’s just for a photo op. He doesn’t care. He hasn’t been decent to my client and his daughter.“
