Beyonce was missing in action at the New York Association of Black Journalists (NYABJ) award ceremony last night.Bey won an award for an article “Eat, Play, Love” that she wrote for Essence Magazine.
The article was an exclusive look into the notoriously private life of Beyonce, and her first self-written article for a magazine.
The event served to recognize the work of more than 40 journalists. Attendees included: Mashonda, Emil Wilbekin, Tonya Lee, Melanie Fiona, and Constance White just to name a few.
No word as to why Bey was a no-show! I’m guessing Bey is packing for her move to London with Jay for his summer tour.
