(Washington, DC)  —  A faculty member from the DC’s CHOICE tutoring agency has been fired amid allegations that he had sex with a student.  According to WJLA-TV, the 18-year-old student is a ward of the city and the matter has been turned over to police.  Accused teacher, Hayes Capers, could not be reached for comment.  DC Ward One Councilman Jim Graham says students deserve safety in their surroundings. Graham says his investigation has revealed that Capers may have given the student money for sex.  He also confirms that the woman says she told Capers she was not interested in him, but he continued his sexual advances.  The Department of Youth Rehabilitation Services says if the allegations are true, they are unacceptable and will not be tolerated.
