(Washington, DC)  —  The teenage pregnancy rate in the District is among the highest in the nation and a new campaign aims to change that.  Brenda Rhodes Miller says those involved in the program are focused on cutting the city’s teen pregnancy rate in half by 2015.
Currently in the District, it’s estimated that 60 out of one-thousand teenaged girls become pregnant.  The campaign encourages teens to act responsibly, live healthy and make informed choices because teen pregnancy is in no one’s best interest.
