As much as I love rooftop parties sometimes alcohol and high places don’t mix. Reports are emerging that a woman has fell to her death while partying at W Hotel’s popular rooftop spot POV Lounge last night.
DC Fab reports:
Last night a woman fell ten stories to her death at the W Hotel in Washington, D.C. The woman, who has not been identified, clearly had too much fun at the POV Rooftop Lounge.
Witnesses saw her climb over a fence on the patio, then she hung by her hands one story below. She then fell ten stories to her death. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
The hotel, located directly across from the White House, is a very posh hangout with one of the best views in the city. It’s a shame that something has to happen, especially right before the fourth. Our prayers go out to the family and people impacted by this incident.
